Joy L. Mirrione, LICSW, is the Clinical Director of Cedar Hill Behavioral Health.
Joy L. Mirrione, LICSW, is the Clinical Director of Cedar Hill Behavioral Health. She received her MSW from Columbia University in NYC in 2014 after completing her BSW at Bridgewater State University in 2013.  Prior to coming to Cedar Hill, Joy worked at the Department of Veteran Affairs from 2016 through early 2024 mostly in a clinical role specializing in co-occurring disorders and homelessness and most recently in a macro role in Suicide Prevention through community engagement. From 2014 to 2016 she worked as a Partial Hospital clinician and as the Lead SOAP Clinician for an outpatient treatment program in Brockton MA.  She is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD and her practice is influenced by evidenced based skills through engagement of motivational interviewing (MI) and introduction of positive life changes through instruction and education of skills informed by dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapy.  Expertise:
